Description

Eudox-Stiff (rigid). Silver on gut. Purple binding at peg end. Knot end. Not suitable for use with fine tuners. packet for illustration only, these strings will be lightly coiled in an oversized pack for dispatch.

Recommended for violas with a playing scale of 35-38cm which covers most violas of back length 15-16.5 inches

  • 1PM=0.05mm, e.g. 14PM=0.7mm diameter. Each 1/4 PM increases or decreases tension by 3%

Professional

Sultry tone

Pros: Beautiful sound and soft under the fingers. I enjoy the slow response, but not everyone is used to that.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, but the slow response may be a surprise to inexperienced players who are used to the synthetic string's quick response.
